In Lopburi province, Thai police conducted an unusual operation to arrest a man suspected of drug trafficking and organizing illegal gambling. To approach the arrest site without drawing extra attention, law enforcement officers disguised themselves as a dance group. Some of the police were dressed in women's stage costumes, allowing them to get close to the suspect without arousing suspicion. To casual passersby, this could have appeared as just another street performance. According to local media reports, during the operation, 53 methamphetamine tablets, a mobile phone, and packaging materials used for drug distribution were seized from the arrested man. For readers: Thailand has strict laws regarding drugs, and even possession of a small amount can result in severe penalties, including lengthy prison terms.
