The Royal Thai Police has initiated a large-scale operation aimed at combating crime among foreign nationals within the country. The operation will proceed in three phases, each with its own goals and objectives. Phase One: Three-Month Emergency Check In the first phase, which will last three months, local police stations will immediately conduct a comprehensive check of foreign nationals in their jurisdictions and create a corresponding database. Special attention will be paid to combating transnational criminal networks suspected of drug trafficking, economic crimes, tax evasion, cybercrime, threats to public safety, illegal immigration, and human trafficking. Phase Two: Six-to-Nine-Month Eradication Operation The second phase, scheduled for 6-9 months, will be coordinated by the Thai Immigration Bureau in cooperation with local police and security services. The main focus will be on a thorough check of foreign nationals' visa status, residence permits, and the legality of their commercial activities in Thailand. In case of violations, the residence permit will be immediately revoked. Additionally, the police will actively investigate criminal networks, and if the involvement of state officials or their patronage of criminals is established, the culprits will be severely punished in accordance with the law and administrative procedures. Third Stage: One-to-Two-Year Continuous Oversight In the third stage, a comprehensive database of foreign nationals will be created and improved, which will be integrated with the Royal Thai Police's "One Police" system. Cross-border intelligence sharing will be enhanced with Interpol, the police of the foreign offenders' countries of origin, and consular institutions. This will allow for the early identification and interception of blacklisted individuals and transnational criminals at the entry control stage. The Royal Thai Police has also strictly warned all police officers against participating in or patronizing any illegal activities involving foreign nationals. Commanders at all levels are obliged to strictly supervise their subordinates. In the event of violations, those responsible will immediately face criminal and disciplinary punishment.
